The show highlights works from two artist friends, Mara Wagner and Valerie Spain.
 

It's a celebration of collage and works on paper, of color and light.

 

While subject matter may differ they share a sensibility for collage, a feeling for abstraction, and a firm belief that ordinary life inspires art, and art in all its forms is essential to life.

I am back for my third guest show at Three Stones Gallery in Concord this winter 2025. The show runs from February 19 through March 30 with a lovely reception the evening of Saturday March 1.

Mara Wagner Artist Cambridge

Meet Mara

Dr. Mara Sanadi Wagner is an award-winning artist known for her vibrant and evocative works that encompass collage, paper and paint, and fabric.

Her work has been recognized by museum and gallery curators across New England for their playful and improvisational nature that spurs conversation and connection with the viewer.

Mara's travels and work as psychoanalyst brought her back into touch with a lost creative drive.  It seems to take her, on its own steam, to places she can later study with a more purposeful eye.
